About me

I'm Siobhan and I am delighted to introduce myself as the proud owner of SB Permanent Makeup. Holding full insurance, certifications, and qualifications in semi-permanent makeup application and courses. I think I always knew I would eventually go into the beauty industry, I attempted to stay at sixth form and carry out my A levels but after one year I threw in the towel and went after what I really wanted. I then went on to study Beauty Therapy and qualified with my Level 3. 

I have 12 years experience within the beauty industry having worked within spas and salons. I decided to go it alone just before I had my first baby and haven’t looked back.

As a teenager I completely over-plucked my eyebrows and after trying lots of different treatments in an attempt to gain some re-growth. I finally came to terms with the fact I’d done irreparable damage and started to look into semi permanent make up. I had to travel nearly two hours to get them done back then as the industry was a lot smaller.

I will always remember the feeling when I left the salon that day, I couldn’t believe how much they changed and framed my face. It really was life changing for me and for the years after has given me so much more confidence. I thought, if I could bottle that feeling and be able to make other women feel the way I felt after having mine done, how amazing would that be!

With that, I began my journey into semi permanent make up in 2012. I loved it straight away, it was as if it was something that was made for me. I get to go to work every day and help my clients feel and look beautiful! How great is that?

My love for this industry has only grown over the years and I truly love going to work everyday and being able to use my artistic flare on every client as you are all so different.

After 9 years in permanent make up, I made the decision to get my teaching qualification. I love treating my clients, new and old but I thought with the industry every growing it was important I share my knowledge and experience. I love teaching, more than I ever thought I would it is so rewarding seeing my students grow in confidence and learn to love the industry as much as i always have.
